My Journey to the B/CS Chamber

My journey to the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce started in 2012 when I moved to College Station from Phoenix. I had spent my early career in Employee Benefits sales and service, and was looking for a new challenge when I arrived in the Brazos Valley.

Finding My Way in a New Community

I began managing a local staffing agency shortly after I arrived, and I became a Chamber Ambassador as a way to learn more about the community and expand my professional networks. During the six years I was an Ambassador, I met many friends and future colleagues who helped me grow in my career as well as in my personal life.

After a few years in the staffing world, I spent over eight years in leadership roles in the nonprofit sector here in the Brazos Valley. Those years taught me so much about the heart of this community — the generosity, the resilience, and the willingness of people to show up for one another.

Coming Back to the Chamber

When I was ready for a different chapter in my life, I found my way back to the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce. In my current position, I have the opportunity to meet with business owners and help them find connections and ideas for growth in our very generous and prosperous community.

The B/CS Chamber is here to help promote business growth and provide networking opportunities for businesses to learn from each other. It's work that energizes me every single day.

Why This Community Matters

This season in my life has made me appreciate the opportunities available to us here in Bryan/College Station and how truly amazing our community can be. There is tremendous power in the connections we make, and the challenges we overcome together.

I am honored and grateful to be part of the team at the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce. I can't wait to see what we can do together!
